Dr. Thomas E. Sawyer

Chairman

Dr. Thomas E. Sawyer has over forty years of progressively responsible technical and managerial experience in high-technology industries, government, and university faculties resulting in a unique combination of  entrepreneurial zeal and public company discipline. Excellent results while serving as Chief Executive Office in start-ups and turnarounds. Developed and implemented management infrastructures for full profit and loss responsibility. extensive experience in taking high technology firms public while raising over two billion in funding. in-depth community relations experience at local, state, and federal levels, including service as a Senior Advisor to four U.S. Presidents: Nixon, Ford, Reagan, and Bush Senior.

Sawyer earned his Bachelor's degree. in Engineering from University of California, Los Angeles, his Graduate Research in Public Affairs from Coro Foundation, and his Master's degree in Business/Urban Affairs from Occidental College. He has earned two PhD's one in Clinical Psychology from Florida State, and one in Management from Walden University. He served as a Sergeant in the United States Marine Corps during the Korean Conflict. Other graduate studies completed at the University of Utah, University of Southern California, and California Institute of Technology.

Sam W. Russ

Chief Executive Officer/President

Prior to joining Cedar Band Enterprises, Sam Russ was President and COO of i2way Corporation, a wireless communications products and services company focused on the utilities, transportation, and public safety markets. Immediately prior to i2way, he held positions as Senior Director for Strategic Solutions with General Dynamics IT and Senior Vice President for Strategic Planning/CTO for the Defense Systems Group of ManTech International Corporation. Prior to ManTech he was a member of the Federal Senior Executive Service with the Department of Homeland Security. His most recent position with DHS included responsibility for consolidating, provisioning, and managing all of DHS' enterprise IT services (data centers, networks, email systems, and functional applications support).  In a previous DHS position he managed the Department's wireless programs.  He has an additional broad base of senior management experience in the military service and in a variety of other private and public telecommunications and IT companies in the Defense and Federal Civilian Agency markets ranging in size from small start-ups, to mid-tier and large, including CSC and AT&T.  Mr. Russ is a certified program management professional and a recognized authority in the areas of IP networks and tactical wireless communications.

Russ earned a Bachelor and Master's degrees in Systems Engineering from the Georgia Institute of Technology. He retired as a Colonel in the Special Forces Branch after a 29-year career in the U.S. Army.

Gregory Ingles

Chief Operations Officer

Gregory Ingles has over 20 years of experience in Business Strategy, Operations Management, and Sales and Technical Teams. He has years of experience in organizational leadership, operations management, marketing and business development, technology development, and customer management. Previously working in such roles as CEO, Senior Executive, Vice President of Operations, and Head of Business Development, his most recent history included working as a consultant for the Navy. Ingles has strong experience and a successful track record in meeting a variety of business, financial, competitive, and customer needs.

Ingles earned a Bachelor's degree from Michigan State University and served a 21-year career as a Navy fighter pilot.

Steven J. Letts

President of Suh'dutsing Telecom, LLC and S&T Services, LLC

Steven J. Letts has over 18 years of executive experience leading large, medium and small sized businesses focused on the telecommunications and information technology markets. He has held a number of senior roles including President and CEO, Senior Vice President, Vice President/General Manager and Vice President Service and Support. Most recently, he was responsible for the day to day operations of four technology based subsidiary companies owned and operated by an Alaskan Native Corporation. His experience includes sales, operations, P&L management and customer service in both the commercial and government markets.

Letts served as an officer in the United States Marine Corps and holds a Bachelor's degree from the Virginia Military Institute and an MBA from National University in San Diego, CA.

Paul B. Terry

Vice President Contracts & Administration

Paul B. Terry has nearly 15 years of legal and business experience, holding senior-level positions in diverse industries ranging from banking, legal process outsourcing, healthcare insurance services, semiconductor capital equipment, Internet, and software industries, and the federal/defense contacting industry. His areas of expertise are in executive management, business development, corporate governance, transactional and contracts law, and real estate and employment law with significant experience in mergers and acquisitions matters. He also served as a Part-Time Faculty member for Chapman University College in Folsom, California, where he educated students in theoretical, analytical, and practical elements of Constitutional Rights. He was an Associate Faculty member at the University of Phoenix in Sacramento, California, where he taught in the areas of Law and Business Management.

Terry earned his Bachelor's degree in Political Science with a Certificate in International Relations from the University of Utah and his J.D. from Santa Clara University School of Law.

Joseph Aguilar

Chief Financial Officer

Joey Aguilar has over twelve years of professional experience in Accounting and Finance as well as Entrepreneurship and Business Strategy, holding several senior-level positions in industries ranging from hospitality, tourism, technology, simulations and government contracting.  His areas of expertise are in executive management, accounting, budgeting, forecasting, cash planning and strategic planning.  He has recently worked for the 4th largest Department of Defense contractor as Director of Finance in their Simulation Group.

Aguilar earned his Bachelor's degree in Accounting from the University of Utah and his Master's degree in Business Administration with an emphasis in Entrepreneurship from Westminster College.

Scott Gregory

Director of Business Development

Scott Gregory has over 10 years of experience in Fundraising and nearly 17 years experience in Progressive Management, Non-Profit Management, Business Development, Strategic Planning, and Project Planning and Execution. Gregory has worked for years with hundreds of Native American owned firms and businesses at the National Center for American Indian Enterprise Development, where he served as a Senior Management Consultant, Project Director, Management Consultant Associate, Vice President of Management Consultant Services, Vice President of Strategic Growth, and Acting President/CEO. During this time, he developed a variety of skills including marketing, business development, budgeting, and financial analysis.

Gregory earned both his Bachelor and Master's degrees in Business Administration from Appalachian State University.

Jeramie Kerns

Director of Program

Jeramie Kerns is the Vice President and General Manager of Suh’dutsing Technologies, LLC, and has over ten years of professional experience in the Information Technology industry, including hands-on technical experience and federal program management and leadership positions.  Jeramie directs the successful execution and delivery of all company programs, and is PMP certified.  His areas of expertise are program/project management, process improvement (CMMI), information and network systems analysis, facility and personnel security, and strategic planning.

Kerns earned his Bachelor's degree in Computer Information Systems from DeVry Institute of Technology.

Kamdon Twitchell

Director of Human Resources

Kamdon Twitchell serves as the head of the Human resources Department for all of the Cedar Band Companies. He also serves as the interim Vice President and General Manager of Suh'dutsing Staffing Services, LLC, one of the Cedar Band Companies. He is also a member of Society for Human Resource Managers (SHRM) and holds a Professional of Human Resources (PHR) certificate from the Human Resources Certificate Institute (HRCI). He is an experienced professional in the Human Resources field with experience as an HR generalist along with Benefits negotiations and implantation, employee rewards and total rewards. He has experience in creating and implementing policy and procedures manuals along with employee handbooks.  He is fluent in Portuguese and experienced in Spanish.

Twitchell earned both his  Bachelor's degree in Business Marketing and his Master's degree in Business Administration from Southern Utah University.
